The Boston Bruins take a 3-2 series lead after a nail biting Game 5 against the Columbus Blue Jackets. After the Blue Jackets came back in the third period scoring 3 goals, it was time for a standout player to step up to the plate and score for the Bruins. Game 5 was held in Boston on Saturday night and game 6 will be held in Columbus on Monday night.
Going into the third period the Bruins had a 1-0 lead and needed some insurance goals to secure their victory. Columbus came back scoring three goals within a 3 and a half minute span, typing the game at 3 goals a piece. David Pastrnak finally scored with just 1:30 seconds left to give the Bruins the 4-3 victory over the Blue Jackets. If the Bruins can pull off another victory Monday night they will advance to the next round to play the Carolina Hurricanes.
