It’s Tee Time

The Farmers Insurance Open came to an end this Sunday at Torrey Pines played at the South Course in La Jolla, California. Like any other tournament it’s a four day stretch starting on Thursday and only the best will make the cut to continue the weekend stretch to Sunday. Justin Rose who is an Englishman born in Johannesburg, South Africa has been on the tour since 1998 just notched his 10th career victory at Torrey Pines.

Rose closed the final round with a three under par (69) to get to twenty-one under from Thursday to Sunday. He played solid day in and day out, making birdies when needed. Australian Adam Scott stumbled in at second place finishing at nineteen under, and Japanese golfer Hideki Matsuyama came in at sixteen under. Rose has always been a straggler at the top of the leader boards but this recent win definitely put his foot in the door and made a statement that hes not going anywhere anytime soon.
